C.R.A.P
We learned that good design is based on the C.R.A.P. principles where C.R.A.P. stands for Contrast Repetition Alignment Proximity.
Contrast- is to avoid elements on the page that are merely similar. If the elements are not the same, then make them very different. Contrast is often the most important visual attraction on a page.
Repetition-repeat visual elements of the design throughout the piece. You can repeat color, shape, texture, spatial relationships, line thicknesses, sizes, etc.
Alignment-nothing should be placed on the page. Every element should have some visual connection with another element on the page. This creates a clean, sophisticated, fresh look.
Proximity-items relating to each other should be grouped close together. When several items are in close proximity to each other, they become one visual unit rather than several separate units.

personal site..
Personal site was created by an individual. An individual can express herself/himself by making personal website. He or she can do what he/she want to do. He/she can put his/her background information. This type of site may contain short fiction such as short stories or samples of artwork. Many personal pages will include information about the author's hobbies and interests and information of interest only to friends and family of the author. Sometimes when we are not busy we can make personal website to entertain us. It is entertaining because other people can see what you are doing. You can post many things like the happenings in your life. Personal website can serves as your diary but other people can see it. Many people are making websites not only for entertainment but for income too. They can earn money by the advertisements in their site. If your site is most viewed by the people there are company that offers you to put their advertisements in your site, in that way they will pay you in every click that your viewer do.

know the basics
What is a website? It is a collection of related web pages containing images, videos or other digital assets. A web page is a document, typically written in plain text interspersed with formatting instructions of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML, XHTML).HTML, which stands for HyperText Markup Language, is the predominant markup languages for web pages. HTML is the basic building-blocks of webpages. HTML is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of tags, enclosed in angle brackets.
Making webpage is not easy. There are many things that we should learn like the file names and site structures. Site structures is the framework of a site. There are basic document structures that are consist of Doctype, html, head, title and body elements. Doctype is refer to a DTD. DTD specifies the rules for the markup language so that browser render the content correctly. Html is a standerdized system for tagging text files to achieve font, color, graphic and hyper link effects on www pages. Head is the container for all the head elements. Title defines the title of the document.
Body element defines the document's body. The body element contains all the contents of an HTML document, such as text, hyperlinks, images, tables, lists, etc.
I have learned all of that for this week. I hope that I can use this knowledge in the future. Hope that I can make a beautiful website.
